City journey with lunch

We leave the hotel at the hour agreed with the client, visiting the area of Miramar and El Vedado, areas that belows to what is called nowadays Modern Havana, located to the west of Havana, big mansions can be appreciated built by old millionaires, with big avenues combined with lateral streets that interweave the modern area of Havana, where reside today houses, embassies, hotels of modern construction, big stores, etc.

   In the area of “El Vedado” a stop of about 30 minutes is made allowing you to take pictures, visit the “Plaza de la Revolución”, wide esplanade where cuban people go the commemorative days to hear the speeches of the leader of the Cuban revolution Fidel Castro, here have been announced the main political and social events that have happened during the history of the country in the last 40 years and have had a meaning in the life of the city and the country.

  This square is surrounded by the principal government buildings such as the offices of the Council of Secretaries, State Council, Ministry of the Interior, National Theater, etc.

  When concluding we go to the area of the Old Havana where we carry out panoramic visits in “El paseo del Prado”, a main avenue of Havana during last century and principles of this. The Central park is surrounded of famous places like the Hotel England, Café delouvre  and the National Capitol, headquarters of the Cuban Senate and nowadays Museum and headquarters of the Cuban Academy of Natural Sciences, we make a small stop in the famous restaurant “The Florida”, one of the places preferred by the writer Ernest Hemingway, to enjoy a Daiquiri.

 The journey finishes in the historical center of the city, where you travel and hear from our guide the explainations of the Square of The Cathedral, Plaza de Armas and  San Francisco Square, headquarters of the social life in the XVI, XVII centuries and XVIII. 

    We can have lunch in any of the famous restaurants of Havana: Café del Oriente, La Mina, El Patio or El Aljibe. 

In the restaurant according to the size of the group will have reserved areas or the complete restaurant.

  When concluding and according to the client’s interests we return immediately to the hotel  or we prepare exits at 7.30 hours, giving the clients a free time to travel by their own.
